Welcome to Karaoke Room ("we", "us"), available at singingasong.com. By using Karaoke Room you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. The service
Karaoke Room is a free web app for hosting and joining live group karaoke sessions with video, audio, chat, song requests and ratings. No account is required. We may change, pause or discontinue any feature at any time.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use Karaoke Room only with a parent or guardian's permission.
3. Your conduct
- Don't harass, threaten, or harm others, or share hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content.
- Don't record or redistribute other participants' video or audio without their consent.
- Don't disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use bots to flood rooms.
- Hosts are responsible for moderating their rooms and may remove anyone at any time.
4. Music and song choices
Songs play through official YouTube embeds and are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. We do not host, download or sell music. Participants choose and are solely responsible for the songs and links they request. Rights holders with concerns may contact us and we will respond promptly.
5. Camera and microphone
When you are on stage, host a room, or join with your camera on, your live video and audio are shared with everyone in that room. Only turn them on if you're comfortable being seen and heard.
6. Tips
Karaoke Room is free. Tips are voluntary, processed securely by Stripe, and are not a purchase of goods or services. Tips are generally non-refundable, but contact us if something went wrong and we'll help.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content shared by participants is accurate or appropriate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karaoke Room is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content or conduct of participants. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you tipped in the past 12 months, or $50, whichever is greater.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
